A group of students from Ripon College took a trip to Laurel Springs, North Carolina during Spring Break to provide relief to communities that were victims of Hurricane Helene. The students participated in a variety of service projects like cutting fallen trees on a campground and adding baseboards to a building damaged by the flooding. The students also took part in bonding events like board game and ice cream nights, as well as morning run club. Junior, Matthew Buccholz said, “I am so grateful I was able to be a part of this and so grateful for the friendships that were able to grow.”
